A graduate of the lifelong learning course "Basics of regulation of cybersecurity and related areas" possesses solid foundations of legal and regulatory issues in the field of cybersecurity. He obtained a comprehensive overview of the legal, technical and strategic aspects of regulation, in the context of the legal order of the Slovak Republic, as well as the law of the European Union.

During his studies, he completed an introduction to the issue of cybersecurity regulation, where he became familiar with the main principles of legislation, application problems and impacts on human rights. He mastered the basic legal frameworks including the NIS 2 Directive, the Cyber ​​Security Act, the Cyber ​​Resilience Act as well as national legislation, in particular the Cyber ​​Security Act and the Public Administration Information Technology Act.

The graduate has an overview of the regulation of privacy and personal data protection, including legal institutes according to the GDPR, the scope of supervisory authorities and the connection of data protection with cybersecurity. He also understands the basics of cybercrime regulation - from the facts of criminal acts, to tools for obtaining and storing digital evidence, to mechanisms of international judicial cooperation.

At the same time, the course enabled him to gain an orientation in the broader context of EU digital regulation, including strategic documents and new challenges such as hybrid threats, disinformation, artificial intelligence or digital platforms, regulated by the Act on Artificial Intelligence and the Act on Digital Services.

Thanks to the acquired knowledge, the graduate is ready to apply in both the private and public sector, especially in the areas of compliance, legal advice, creation of internal cybersecurity policies or in the area of personal data protection and prevention of cyber threats.
