Welcome to the official website Competence Center for the Regulation of Cybersecurity, Privacy and Cybercrime (CUSEC), which was established at the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava. Our main goal is to create and ensure the functioning of a central hub for expert knowledge, information exchange and support in the field of cybersecurity regulation, privacy protection and cybercrime.

The project will involve the creation of methodologies, educational materials, and documentation for informal and formal education in the field of cybersecurity.

Supporting education and current affairs in cybersecurity

Professional support in the form of consultations within professional subjects in the field of cybersecurity will also be provided to partner secondary schools, as well as other secondary schools.

In terms of subject matter, the research activity will focus on three areas: regulation of cybersecurity, protection of privacy and personal data, and cybercrime.

Expert activity

Expert activity will be carried out in the form of providing professional assistance in the design and implementation of security measures, and support to the government CSIRT unit in resolving cyber security incidents within the scope of the competence center.

Lifelong learning

The lifelong learning courses are intended to help various categories of users from public administration to increase their expertise in the field of cybersecurity regulation, privacy protection and cybercrime. CUSEC is also actively developing cooperation with secondary schools, for which it will provide various courses tailored to the needs of the current generation of students. For the general public, basic courses will be provided in the form of workshops.
