The project will involve the creation of methodologies, educational materials, and documentation for informal and formal education in the field of cybersecurity.
The project includes the preparation and publication of a textbook entitled "Regulation of Cybersecurity, Privacy Protection and Cybercrime".
The project also focuses on the implementation of an elective course "Cybercrime Law", which will be included in the curriculum at the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava. This course will be part of a unique offer of courses focused on cybersecurity and law, thereby increasing the quality of education in this area in Slovakia.
Members of the research team will also prepare a methodology for the creation of a doctoral study program - Information Technology Law. The content of this study program will also include issues of cybersecurity, privacy protection and cybercrime, which will help students specialize in a given area. A similar doctoral study program does not exist in the Slovak Republic and will represent a benefit not only for the university itself, but also for the entire society. The doctoral study program in question will be provided from the academic year 2025/2026.
