Two departments of the Faculty of Law are primarily involved in the implementation of the project, namely the Institute of Information Technology Law and Intellectual Property Law and the Department of Criminal Law, Criminology and Forensic Science. Both departments focus on professional capacities in the field of cybersecurity regulation, privacy protection, cybercrime and related digital regulatory frameworks. Other experts from the fields of administrative law, international law, constitutional law and commercial law are also involved in the project. CUSEC functions as a dynamic platform for the exchange of information and best practices between experts, public administration bodies and the academic sector. It also supports international cooperation in key areas of cybersecurity regulation. CUSEC provides unique opportunities for professionals, researchers and students who want to make a name for themselves in the field of cybersecurity. It allows them to meet world-class experts, participate in international conferences and complete internships at leading institutions. An important part of our mission is also supporting doctoral students who are dedicated to the topics of cybersecurity, privacy protection and cybercrime. CUSEC provides them with mentoring, expert consultations and opportunities to participate in various research projects.

CUSEC brings new perspectives to informal and formal education in the field of cybersecurity, privacy protection and cybercrime.
