This question was discussed by CUSEC member Michal Ramp\u00e1\u0161ek at the EPI conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udd12 Od 1. augusta 2025<\/strong> the Commission's delegated regulation on the RED (Radio Equipment Directive), which introduces the first mandatory cybersecurity requirements for wireless equipment in the EU, will come into force.
\ud83d\udca1 O two years later<\/strong> will follow up Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)<\/strong> \u2013 with even broader obligations for all products with digital elements, from end devices to components to software and chips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For manufacturers, importers, distributors and integrators, this means a fundamental change: requirements for product security, liability for vulnerabilities and the need to demonstrate compliance throughout the entire product life cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
