{"id":839,"date":"2025-07-11T09:15:07","date_gmt":"2025-07-11T09:15:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cusec.flaw.uniba.sk\/?p=839"},"modified":"2025-07-11T09:18:53","modified_gmt":"2025-07-11T09:18:53","slug":"zastupcovia-cusec-na-konferencii-rady-europy-octopus-2025-v-strasburgu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cusec.flaw.uniba.sk\/en\/novinky\/zastupcovia-cusec-na-konferencii-rady-europy-octopus-2025-v-strasburgu\/","title":{"rendered":"CUSEC representatives at the Council of Europe Octopus 2025 conference in Strasbourg"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On June 4-6, 2025, a prestigious international conference took place on the premises of the Palace of Europe in Strasbourg&nbsp;<strong>Octopus 2025<\/strong>, organized&nbsp;<strong>by the Council of Europe<\/strong>, which is one of the most important events focused on the topic&nbsp;<strong>cybercrime<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Competence Centre for the regulation of Cybersecurity, privacy protection and Cybercrime was represented at the conference\u00a0<strong>docent Marek\u00a0Kord\u00edk a doktorka Petra Dra\u017eov\u00e1<\/strong>, who participated in plenary sessions and practical workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference was attended by more than&nbsp;<strong>500 experts from more than 100 countries<\/strong>&nbsp;operating in international organizations, public and private spheres, in non-governmental organizations, as well as in the scientific research environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The key topics of the event were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\">strengthening international cooperation in the field of electronic evidence,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>implementation&nbsp;<strong>of the Hanoi Convention<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>new challenges related to&nbsp;<strong>child pornography material generated by artificial intelligence<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cooperation with the initiative&nbsp;<strong>CASP<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and&nbsp;<strong>classification of computer crime as a war crime<\/strong>&nbsp;according to the Rome Statute.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The participation of our representatives in such an important event strengthens the faculty's position in the international professional discourse and contributes to the development of knowledge in the field of digital and criminal law.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>V d\u0148och 4. a\u017e 6. j\u00fana 2025 sa v priestoroch Pal\u00e1ca Eur\u00f3py v \u0160trasburgu uskuto\u010dnila prest\u00ed\u017ena medzin\u00e1rodn\u00e1 konferencia&nbsp;Octopus 2025, organizovan\u00e1&nbsp;Radou Eur\u00f3py, ktor\u00e1 patr\u00ed k najv\u00fdznamnej\u0161\u00edm podujatiam zameran\u00fdm na t\u00e9mu&nbsp;kybernetickej kriminality.
